Update campaign, ad set or ad
Update properties on a campaign, ad set, or ad node.
Tool name: update-node.
Update properties on a campaign, ad set, or ad node. To attach a creative to an ad, pass creativeId (numeric). To attach a persisted copy generation to an ad, pass copyGenerationId (numeric). To attach an existing Meta post to an ad, pass postId (string). To pause/activate/resume a node, pass properties: { status: "PAUSED" | "ACTIVE" }, status is NOT a settings path, it lives on the node itself and must go through updateNode. Use properties for arbitrary fields (e.g., name, status). At least one of creativeId / copyGenerationId / postId / properties must be provided.
When to use
Attach a creativeId, copyGenerationId or postId to an ad, rename via properties.name, OR pause/activate/resume via properties.status ("PAUSED"|"ACTIVE"). NOT for settings (budget, targeting, schedule), use updateSettings for those. status is NOT a settings path.
