October 2026: v1

The first release of the Koast REST API.

API

  • https://api.koast.ai/v1, with every brand-scoped resource under /v1/brands/{brandId}.
  • Brands and ad accounts, launches and their campaigns, ad sets and ads, creatives, copy generation, live budget edits, metrics and daily insights, creative fatigue, delivery status, automations, workflows, snapshot and structure templates, the creative pipeline and team activity.
  • RedTrack and ClickFlare spend push and campaign mappings, and ClickFlare connection settings. See Trackers.
  • One error envelope with stable codes, and a Koast-Request-Id on every response. See Errors.
  • Cursor pagination on every list. See Pagination.
  • Idempotency-Key on every POST, required on publishing and live budget edits. See Idempotency.
  • Per-organization rate limits with RateLimit-* headers. See Rate limits.
  • asOf on every metrics response. See Metrics freshness.
  • The OpenAPI 3.1 spec at https://api.koast.ai/v1/openapi.json.

API keys

  • Keys belong to the organization, with scopes (read, write, publish), MCP and API switches, a brand limit, an optional expiry and a publish ceiling. See Authentication.
  • The REST API and webhooks need an Agency plan. MCP works on every paid plan. See Access and plans.

Webhooks

  • Endpoints with event type and brand filters, signed with Standard Webhooks, retried for about 3 days, with a 30-day delivery log, test sends, resend of failed events and 24-hour secret rotation. See Webhooks.
  • Events: launch.completed, launch.partially_failed, launch.failed, ad.approved, ad.rejected, delivery.status_changed, metrics.updated, spend.day_closed and ping.

MCP

  • The tool catalog is public at https://api.koast.ai/v1/mcp/tools.json, with each tool's scope and REST equivalent. See MCP.

CLI 0.2.0

  • @koast.ai/cli is now a REST client: one command per API operation, generated from the OpenAPI spec, with --brand on every brand-scoped command, --all, --output table and exit codes. See CLI.
  • Sign in with KOAST_API_KEY, koast login --api-key or koast login in the browser.
